Non-Stop Airlift to California

A monthly summary of non-stop seats to California, including total domestic and international airlift, as well as a breakdown of airlift by market into California.

• In February 2026, California’s domestic air travel recorded 8.1 million non-stop seats to destinations across the state, 0.3% decline from February 2025.
• Internationally, Visit California’s 13 priority markets accounted for 1.3 million non-stop seats to the state, 1.1% year-over-year decrease.

• Mexico remained the largest international source market with 412.3K non-stop seats, an 3.2% increase year over year, while Canada followed with 181.8K seats, down 14.9%. 

• Among overseas markets, Japan and the U.K. had the largest volume of nonstop seats to California. 

• France recorded the highest  year-over-year increase in nonstop seats (11.7%) for the month.
